Health & Safety Declaration

1. Purpose
This declaration outlines the health and safety standards that all learners must follow whilst studying with the Academy. These procedures are designed to protect learners, tutors, models and clients, and to maintain a safe learning environment.

2. Health & Safety Procedures
Learners agree to follow all Academy health and safety policies, procedures and instructions at all times. This includes working safely, using equipment correctly and maintaining a clean and organised working environment.

3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Where required, learners must wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during practical training and assessments. PPE should be used correctly and disposed of safely in accordance with Academy procedures.

4. Reporting Accidents & Incidents
All accidents, injuries, near misses or unsafe conditions must be reported to a tutor or member of the Academy team immediately. Prompt reporting helps maintain a safe environment and ensures appropriate action can be taken.

5. Infection Prevention & Control
Learners are expected to follow all infection prevention and control procedures, including effective hand hygiene, correct cleaning and disinfection of equipment, appropriate use of PPE and safe disposal of clinical waste where applicable. These standards help minimise the risk of cross-infection and protect everyone within the learning environment.

6. Acceptance
By enrolling on this course, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to comply with the Academy's Health & Safety Declaration throughout your qualification.
